HYC New and Associate Membership Procedures

1.0 New Members. New member applicants must serve a probationary period before being accepted as a Member of HYC. The probationary period varies depending on whether or not the applicant is sponsored by an HYC Member.

1.1 Sponsored: A sponsored applicant must be known by a Member in good standing of HYC who will vouch for his/her character. The sponsored applicant will serve a three (3) month probationary period, but is eligible to receive a gate key. At the next regularly scheduled monthly meeting following the three-month waiting period, a vote will be taken to either accept or reject the applicant as a Member of the Club. Candidates may not attend the meeting during which their candidacy for membership is being discussed and determined. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this procedure.
