2005 Memorial Weekend/Fireworks

Every year for the past 6 or more, your webmonster has camped on the lake somewhere with his family and sailed. Each time it seems like something eventful would happen! We started with a little dinghy (and just a wife) which worked really nice. We've moved up to a C22 (and 2 children to boot!) and we've moved to the boat for sleeping. Now, this didn't work so well last year so we are going to rent a spot on the Hamilton Creek dock from Friday night through Monday this year for Memorial Day weekend. You are invited to do the same!
There is no structure at the moment, I intend to spend as much time sailing as possible. When the kids are out with us, we will find a protected anchorage and hope others would like to come out and tie up with us. Swimming for everyone! When it is time for dinner, I'd like to sail back to the dock and grill out on the grounds at Hamilton Creek.
As I hear from the fleet (and my wife on the status of our babies!) the structure of this weekend will be more defined. Usually, there is a firework show on Sunday night at Nashville Shores. It is always enjoyable to watch them from the boat and our kids will be out for that, you can bet on it!
